Jared J. Fine

Partner, Goodwin Procter LLP

Jared Fine is a partner in the firm's Business Law Department and a member of its Technology Companies Group. He advises emerging growth companies at all stages of maturity, including formation, initial funding, expansion and exit. His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and general corporate and securities law, including company formation and strategy and venture capital and growth equity financings. He joined Goodwin in 2010.

Mr. Fine represents both investors and private and public companies in a variety of technology-driven industries, including software-as-a-service (SaaS), digital media, e-commerce, hardware, healthcare information technology and security. His recent representations include:

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Fine served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Peter C. Dorsey of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.

Mr. Fine has been involved in various pro bono matters, including working with the Greater Boston Citizenship Initiative and the firm’s Neighborhood Business Initiative. He also holds office hours at the Harvard Innovation Lab and has mentored MassChallenge Finalists.

RECOGNITION

While attending law school, Mr. Fine was an Executive Editor of the Connecticut Law Review.
