Financial management for food businesses
Attendees will learn accounting basics, financial planning tips, and how to plan for profit.
On Wednesday, April 19, in partnership with Four Corners Main Streets and Julia Shanks Food Consulting, OED will host a workshop for restaurants, catering establishments, and food entrepreneurs on the ins-and-outs of financial management and planning. Attendees will learn:
- accounting basics
- financial planning tips, and
- how to plan for profit.
*There will be a Spanish interpreter available for attendees*
About the workshop seriesThis winter, Mayor Walsh and the Office of Economic Development (OED) launched a free workshop series to support the city’s small business ecosystem. In partnership with Boston Main Streets and consultants in OED's technical assistance program, this series of workshops will provide guidance for all entrepreneurs and small businesses of all types and development stages across Boston’s neighborhoods.
