What is Neighborhood Slow Streets?
The City of Boston’s approach to lowering speeds and improving street safety on smaller, less-busy residential streets in the City for people walking and biking. We work with residents to understand their safety concerns and develop targeted interventions for key safety areas.  The Lower South Street neighborhood is one of 15 current Neighborhood Slow Streets priority areas.
