Preservation Month 2018 kickoff

Help celebrate the 50th anniversary of City Hall, our heroic pending Boston Landmark!

Please use the Congress Street entrance of Boston City Hall after 5:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

The program includes:
  • a Preservation Month 2018 proclamation presented by Austin Blackmon, Chief of Environment, Energy and Open Space
  • remarks by Christine Poff, Community Preservation Director, on the importance of funding Historic Preservation
  • Chair Lynn Smiledge presenting the Boston Landmarks Commission 2017 accomplishments, and
  • our second annual Citizen Preservation Awards.

This event is presented by the Boston Landmarks Commission. The exhibit curators are Chris Grimley and Mark Pasnik.

Co-sponsors for the event include the Office of Arts and Culture, Property Management, and the Over,under architecture firm.
