Tax preparation help - Roxbury

The Boston Tax Help Coalition provides free tax preparation for residents who earned $54,000 or less in 2017.

What to bring with you:
  1. Government-issued Photo ID (required)
  2. Social Security Card or Individual Taxpayer ID Letter (ITIN) for you, your dependents, and your spouse
  3. A copy of last year’s tax return
  4. All 1099 forms - 1099G (unemployment), 1099 R (pension payments), 1099INT (bank interest), 1099SSA (Social Security), 1099 or self-employment
  5. W2 forms from all jobs in 2017
  6. Bank-issued printed account and routing numbers to direct deposit your tax refund into your account
  7. Proof of health insurance (Health insurance cards, HC-1099, 1095-A, etc.) for taxpayer, spouse, and all dependents*
  8. If you received the premium tax credit, you must bring in a 1095A
  9. Total child care expenses in 2017, and child care provider’s name, address, and Employer Identification Number (EIN) or Social Security Number (SSN)
  10. All 1098T forms (tuition payments), college statements, receipts for materials
  11. Total student loan interest paid (1098E) or lender statement
  12. Proof of all rent paid in 2017
  13. Proof of ANY deductible out of pocket expenses (annual BWSC, charitable receipts, property taxes)
  14. Any mail from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and any mail from the IRS

*Taxpayers who have received or expect to receive health insurance credits need to bring proof of ALL household income.
