Tito Puente Latin Music Series, featuring Alea

Join us this summer in Boston Parks for live salsa music and dance.

Created in honor of Latin music icon Tito Puente, this series is celebrating 12 years of bringing live Latin music with a strong salsa influence to Boston parks. This series is sponsored in part by:

  • Berklee College of Music
  • Inquilinos Boricuas en Accion
  • Villa Victoria Center for the Arts
  • Zumix
  • Hyde Square task Force, and
  • Sociadad Latina.

Free salsa lessons are led by MetaMovements at select concerts. 


Colombian artist Alea is a progressive and pioneering artist whose music arrests you with authenticity and honesty. Alongside brilliant performers such as Sinuhé Padilla-Isunza, Franco Pinna, and Juan Ruiz, she delivers a high-energy performance that traces the musical heritage of many Latin American countries.
