Megan Quiñones joined the Office of Food Access in August 2020. She is an AmeriCorps FoodCorps service member. She arrived at OFA after completing her undergraduate. She's honored to be serving in the City of Boston.
Megan was born in Tacoma, Washington. Her passion for equity and food access began as a child. Megan grew up in a household experiencing food insecurity. She studied Political Science and Sociology/Cultural Anthropology at Saint Martin's University. Throughout college, her passion for food justice continued to grow. It led her to serve with FoodCorps.
Megan works to uproot injustice in food systems. She brings an equitable and community-based approach to our work. She enjoys baking, crafting, and trying different coffee shops in her spare time.
