Shannon Timlin moved to Boston to join the Office of Food Access (OFA) in 2019 as a FoodCorp member. After a year of service with OFA, she joined again as Emergency Food Access Coordinator. Her food justice interest comes from her passion for public health and health equity. She believes that access to the resources necessary to live a healthy life is a right, not a privilege.
Shannon earned her undergrad degree in Human Services at the University of Delaware. Currently, she is working towards her Masters in Public Health from Boston University. Her focus is on program design, implementation, and evaluation. In her spare time, Shannon loves trying new recipes, hiking, and tending to her plants.
