Schools shift to all remote learning
Due to a rising COVID-19 infection rate in the City, all Boston Public Schools students will shift to remote learning effective Thursday, October 22.
City department hours
City Hall is open to the public on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. If you need to visit a department, you must make an appointment.

Ann Moritz

Chair, Boston Cultural Council

Ann Moritz is principal of Moritz Advisory Group, a decades-old commitment to consulting on issues of organizational development, diversity, equity and inclusion. She co-designed the program Building Alliances Across Race for Women Leaders. The annual Gospel Night at the Boston Pops began with the initiative of a BSO Diversity Committee that Ann helped design. She co-founded and chaired the multicultural ¡CelebrateMilton! in Milton. She devoted most of her more than 12 years at The Boston Globe supervising its Human Relations operations.

Ann holds a bachelor’s in journalism, a master’s in public administration, and a PhD in educational studies. She serves as adjunct faculty at Lesley University where teaches a course on Enhancing Inclusion in Organizations and in supervising master’s candidates in internships and independent study.
