Pat McSweeney

Boston Cultural Council member

Since ending her 30-year career in corporate human resources, Pat has devoted her time to the arts and to volunteer work in Boston. She is a board member and Development Committee chair at the Institute for Nonprofit Practice and a member of The Philanthropy Connection. She is a past board member of the YWCA Boston, Found in Translation, a nonprofit organization that trains low-income immigrant women to be medical interpreters.

Pat is also a fiber artist who creates wearable art from handmade felt and shibori-dyed silk and linen at her studio in Charlestown. She was a member of the Charlestown team for Boston Creates.
