The City Clerk publishes the agenda for all City Council meetings, records all Council and related Mayoral actions, and edits and compiles the minutes of Council meetings. The Department also maintains the City Council document system database and publishes all ordinances and amended codes on a yearly basis. The City Clerk is also responsible for overseeing the work of the Archives Commission.
You must complete any public business transactions before the cashier closes at 4:30 p.m.
Maureen has been the City Clerk for the City of Boston since 2012. From 1994 to 2011, she served on the Boston City Council, representing the neighborhood of Dorchester.
