Since 2010, Dustin has bounced around Dorchester, from Upham’s Corner to St. Mark’s to Codman Square. Combine that with mentoring youth, work with the local church, and volunteering with organizations like DSNI and Boston Project, and Dustin couldn’t help but fall in love with such a vibrant, resilient community. The role of Constituent Services Coordinator for Councilor Andrea Campbell has provided the perfect intersection for his passion for social justice, experience in empowering people, and deep love for the neighborhood.
From his upbringing in a rural farming community to his adult life in Boston, he has learned that the path to loving our neighbors begins by busting through our comfort zones to be present and listen. Dustin has a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies, and previously worked with Sojourn Collegiate Ministry at Northeastern University, UMass Boston, and Boston University where he cultivated safe spaces for authentic dialogue about the crossroads of life and faith.
Dustin and his wife Rachele live in Codman Square with their two daughters and are active in their neighborhood church and civic association. When they get the chance to get out of town, they love to hike, hit the beach, or travel to new places!
