Milinda Andrade is the Outreach and Engagement Specialist for the Mayor’s Commission for Persons with Disabilities. In this role, Milinda works to develop and lead a range of outreach strategies to raise awareness of the Commissions programs and services. She further works to engage diverse groups of residents to ensure that the City is reaching its impact goals. She works with a host of community partners to share information about the Commission and the services provided throughout the City of Boston.
Milinda is originally from Boston, Massachusetts and moved to the Cape Verde Islands for six years. She is fluent in Cape Verdean Creole, Portuguese, and conversational Spanish. She currently resides in Hyde Park and is working on a degree in Health Care Administration.
