Sarah has worked in international relations for over 10 years and joined the City of Boston in 2016. In this role Sarah focuses on scaling up international relations through public diplomacy, economic partnerships, business engagement, and marketing Boston as a global and welcoming city. Prior to joining the City of Boston, Sarah worked in public diplomacy as Head of the Politics, Press and Public Affairs Section at the British Consulate-General in Boston, where she also held the Policy and University Engagement portfolio. Sarah also held roles at the Center for European Studies, an interdisciplinary research center at Harvard University. There she was responsible for programming, communications, external relations, student advising, and Visiting Scholars Programs. Sarah earned a B.A. from Syracuse University in International Relations and a Master's degree from Harvard in Government.
