If the City, education stakeholders and partners and the broader community collaborate to improve local education and learning in ways that:
- Increase educational equity, addressing disproportionately in educational opportunities and bias in schools and education systems;
- Engage whole communities in providing access to high-quality learning experiences that build knowledge, skill and experience, in and beyond school walls and throughout all times of the day;
And, if the City and partners across sectors make investments that increase community and household stability, thereby better positioning low-income students and families to benefit from school and learning,
Then Boston can help all learners achieve excellence, close achievement AND opportunity gaps and fulfill its vision for education and learning.
