Greenovate Urban Wild cleanups

Joining an urban wild cleanup is one great way to get involved and volunteer with Greenovate. Keeping our shared spaces clean allows you to get to know your neighborhood and build more resilient communities.

A major piece of the cleanup will be picking up and getting rid of trash in the surrounding area. Another component will involve the physical removal and disposal of invasive species.

The Parks and Recreation Department will lead the education and removal of invasive species portion of the event. They will help volunteers identify and remove the invasive species that are affecting the Urban Wild.

Next Urban Wild cleanup

The next cleanup will be held on October 19 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. in Rivermoor Urban Wild. This will be the last cleanup of 2019!
