Kate Oetheimer

Conservation Assistant

As the Conservation Assistant, Kate assists constituents in filing with the Conservation Commission and aids in the staff review process for filings. She also works on a variety of other ongoing projects related to the Conservation Commission and Boston’s Urban Wilds.

Before joining the Environment Department, Kate was a Hunt Planner for Colorado Parks and Wildlife, where she engaged with constituents to help them understand the state’s hunting regulations and license draw processes.

Kate received her Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College and her Master of the Environment with a concentration in Sustainability Planning and Management from the University of Colorado, Boulder. In her free time she enjoys hiking, skiing, and watercolor painting.
