As a native of Roslindale, Nick has a familiarity and appreciation for each of the neighborhoods in Boston. With a lifelong love of the outdoors, Nick knew that he wanted to pursue a career in the environmental field after taking an environmental science class as a senior at Boston Latin School.
In his role with the Commission, Nick supervises the administration and technical functions of the Boston Conservation Commission in implementing the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and Boston Wetlands Protection Ordinance, along with administering conservation restrictions and managing all Commission-held urban wild properties.
Before officially joining the team in November 2017, he was with the Environment Department as the Energy Efficiency and Climate Fellow. Nick has an Environmental Science degree from Boston University and a Master of Environmental Law and Policy degree from Vermont Law School.
