Peyton Siler Jones
Peyton serves on the Climate Ready Boston team, supporting the development and implementation of strategies to integrate preparedness and climate change projections into all municipal projects, planning, and permit review; coordinating Boston’s preparedness activities with related work by other municipalities, regional authorities and offices of the Commonwealth; and working with business, institutional, non-profit and neighborhood groups to ensure that all parts of the Boston community have the knowledge, support, and resources necessary to reduce their vulnerability to the increasing risks associated with climate change.
Formally, she was Communications Manager for Greenovate Boston, within the Environment Department. In this role, she worked to build a solutions-focused narrative about climate action in the Boston to help empower residents to be a part of addressing climate change in the City.
Before joining the team in the fall of 2018, Peyton worked for the Urban Sustainability Directors Network and the Carbon Neutral Cities Alliance. She has a B.A. in Environmental Policy from Green Mountain College.
