Katie proudly serves as Interim Director of Mayor Martin J. Walsh’s Office of Intergovernmental Relations. In this role, she leads the team that coordinates the Administration’s communication and collaboration with federal, state, and other municipal governments, and the Boston City Council. She works closely with all City of Boston departments to inform the Mayor’s legislative and budgetary agenda and advocates for priorities that will improve the lives of those who live in, work in, and visit Boston.
Previously, Katie served as the Mayor’s Director of State Relations. Prior to her work in government, she crafted and implemented statewide advocacy priorities for the American Lung Association and the American Cancer Society. Katie received a Master of Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health, her undergraduate degree from Boston University, and is a graduate of Worcester Academy.
