Arlenny Ramirez

In-House Spanish Translator Intern

Arlenny Ramirez is currently the In-House Spanish Translator Intern for the Mayor's Office of Language and Communications Access. In this role, she ensures that the residents of Boston have access to city resources and materials with quality translations.

Arlenny is a junior at the University of Massachusetts Boston and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Latin American and Iberian studies with a minor in Criminal Justice.

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Arlenny moved to Boston at nine years old. She hopes to support individuals who have migrated from places with distinct language backgrounds, as well as provide language equality to those who may struggle to find their voice.
