Susanna Ronalds-Hannon

Director of Innovation and Technology

As Director of DND’s Innovation and Technology (IT) unit, Susanna coordinates the delivery of technology tools and services and facilitates business process improvement in support of DND’s mission to build stronger neighborhoods in Boston.  These efforts include delivering intuitive and informative digital tools to constituents, aligning internal tools with business processes to facilitate data-driven decisions, and maximizing the use and adoption of available technology to ensure that all staff members at DND have the IT tools and training needed to do their jobs effectively and efficiently.

Susanna comes to DND from the City of Boston’s Department of Innovation and Technology, where she spent 3.5 years digitizing cross departmental workflow processes, driving permitting process improvement, and supporting data-driven performance management efforts.

She was born in Somerville, grew up in Concord (MA), and has lived in southwest Virginia, Asheville, Pittsburgh, and most recently Oak Square in Brighton.
