Edward M McGuire III started his career at City Hall as a project manager at the Boston Redevelopment Authority in September 2014. He then transitioned to the role of Chief of Staff for the Civic Engagement Cabinet in November 2016.

McGuire holds a bachelor's degree in American Politics from the Catholic University of America. He's a lifelong resident of South Boston and an active member of his community.
