Born and raised in Dorchester, Joshua attended the Mario Umana Middle School and the John D. O'Bryant School of Math and Science. As a Boston Public Schools-raised student, he continued his education at UMass Dartmouth to receive his Bachelor's in Marketing in 2020, and now he's in his first year of the MBA program at Suffolk University.

In his spare time, Joshua loves to work with community members through civic engagement and has done so through student organizations at Dartmouth that also support local cultural advancement. He is passionate about the progression of Latino immigrants, but loves to boast about his mixed ethnicity coming from Cambodian and Colombian heritages.
