Dennisse G. Rorie
Dennisse Rorie is a Boston native with a passion for advocating for her community and fellow Bostonian. Ms. Rorie is a Boston Public School graduate, and an alumni of the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Her undergraduate studies focused on Sociology and Women's Studies, which lead her to pursue a Master Certificate in Gender, Leadership and Public Policy through The Center of Women in Politics and Public Policy at UMass Boston.
Dennisse became apart of the MORRE team in July 2016 after highlighting her passions for racial equity, intersectionality of race and gender issues and learning more about local government. Serving as Special Assistant to Boston's Chief Resilience Officer, Dr. Atyia Martin, Dennisse is the main point of contact for collaboration with the MORRE office. She looks forward to answering your inquiries and connecting and collaborating across different sectors in the City of Boston.
