Vanessa Marte is an experienced project manager with a passion for business.  Driven by professionalism and a solution-oriented work ethic, she takes pride in providing the best service to Boston’s small business community. Vanessa works closely with the team to deliver wraparound services to business owners, including technical assistance, support to the Boston Main Streets, and by leading workshops through the Economic Development Center. As Design Services Manager, Vanessa is responsible for carrying out the goals of revitalizing, highlighting, and beautifying Boston commercial neighborhoods through the Restore & Design Program. 

Vanessa has worked for the City of Boston for 9 years, gaining experience in permitting, zoning and citywide processes. Born in Boston and a native Spanish speaker,  Vanessa demonstrates deep commitment and honor to deliver city services equitably.
