Pride in Boston

Join Mayor Michelle Wu and the City of Boston in celebrating Pride throughout the month of June! Learn more about City of Boston events, community programming, and more below.

This year's Pride centers the advancement and joy of LGBTQ+ residents, creates brave spaces for residents to build community, and elevates local organizations that serve and uplift Boston's diverse LGBTQ+ community.

The Mayor's Office of LGBTQ+ Advancement is asking community members and organizations to submit their Pride events to be featured below.

Upcoming Pride events

Massachusetts Youth Pride

May 20

This is the oldest youth-led, adult-supported LGBTQ Youth Pride celebration in the country! BAGLY’s Youth Pride is held annually in May and consists of a festival with a youth-led march, community resources tabling, and live performances.

Amplify GSA Summit

May 21 at 9 a.m.

Amplify GSA is an effort to support Boston Public Schools in creating safe, inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ youth. The Amplify GSA Youth Summit will be on May 21, 2023, at Boston Arts Academy.

Boston Pride Kick-Off

June 1 at 4 p.m.

Join the City of Boston and the Office of LGBTQ+ Advancement in celebrating the beginning of Pride month with a flag raising, performance, and the Portraits of Pride unveiling!

4th Annual Trans Resistance March & Festival

June 3 at 11 a.m.

Trans Resistance was formed in June 2020 by a collective of trans & queer activists. Trans Resistance shows up wherever support and advocacy are needed, and commit to providing programming by and for TQBIPOC in our community.

Boston Pride for the People Parade & Festival

June 10 at 11 a.m.

Commemorate the brave LGBTQ+ people who risked their safety to advocate for the lives and humanity of LGBTQ+ people, to celebrate the richness and complexity of LGBTQ+ community, and to continue to advocate for equity and inclusion for LGBTQ+ people.

Road of Rainbows 5K

June 10 at 10 a.m.

The Road of Rainbows, hosted by Boston Theater Company, is an inclusive event that is as much about running as it is about showing off inner unicorns. All genders are welcome! For all LGBTQ+ folks and supporters!
