Courtney Moores

Director of Performance Management

Courtney Moores (she/her) is the City’s Director of Performance Management on the Citywide Analytics Team. In this role, Courtney oversees the traditional Performance Management work as well as the new Process Improvement team. She works closely with departments and teams across the City to determine their goals and how to measure success toward those goals. Additionally she focuses on continuous improvement with departments both through performance management and process improvement.

Courtney graduated from Northeastern University with a Business Administration degree, with a focus on Marketing and Management Information Systems. Prior to joining the City in 2017, she spent her career in the private sector where she was still focusing on data, just different kinds of data. She spent four years at Forrester Research, where she analyzed consumer survey data and then worked for two advertising agencies, analyzing digital and social data. She has really valued the shift into the public sector, where she can use those same skills to help improve City services and help make things run more efficiently.

Courtney grew up just south of Boston, and has lived in East Boston since 2013 with her partner, Jason, and their dog, Chief (named for Celtics great, Robert Parish). In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, visiting new restaurants, playing ultimate frisbee, being a passionate women’s sports advocate, and cheering on the Celtics.
