Jennifer Goldsmith

MS, MEd, Boston Public Health Commission Consultant
Jennifer Goldsmith works as a consultant with the Boston Public Health Commission on equity efforts including the development of the conference, Advancing Health Equity in Boston: Building on lessons learned from the COVID-19 Pandemic. Ms. Goldsmith has built a career in healthcare delivery, finance, strategy and planning in both domestic and global health.
 
She currently consults with partner organizations including Groundwater Institute, EqualHealth, Rx Foundation, the University of Health Equity, and SeaChange Coalition engaging in rigorous research and building compelling cases for health equity. She also serves on the leadership team and as Instructor in the DrPH program at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public and co-teaches a Tufts University undergraduate course, a Practical Introduction to Global Health.
 
Ms. Goldsmith served for seven years as Director of Programs and Administration for the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women's Hospital and also as Director of Health Equity Strategy and Implementation in BWH’s Department of Medicine. Previously she served as founding Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Planning and Partnerships at Seed Global Health, a global non-profit dedicated to human resources for health capacity-building at the individual, institutional, and national level through sustained collaborative engagement. 
 
Ms. Goldsmith holds a BA from the University of Michigan, earned an MS in Public Health at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, and an MEd at Boston College.
