We direct all municipal, state, and federal elections within Boston. We also register voters, conduct an annual listing of Boston residents, and educate the public on the importance of voting.

The 2019 Annual Resident Census is now available online. We're also mailing the census out to every household in the City to record residents aged 17 and older. Responding to the census helps us evenly distribute City resources. Through the census, voters can keep an active voter status. This allows residents to have access to a fair jury, and it helps us maintain an accurate voter list.
