We direct all municipal, state, and federal elections within Boston. We also register voters, conduct an annual listing of Boston residents, and educate the public on the importance of voting.

The Candidates List for the Preliminary Municipal Election on September 24, 2019, is now available!  Candidates names are listed in the order they will appear on the ballot.

The 2019 Annual Resident Census Deadline is August 1, 2019! Responding to the census helps us evenly distribute City resources. By completing the census, you can keep your voting status active and help us keep an accurate voter list. Thanks to the census, residents are also able to get access to a fair jury.
