How to buy taxi coupons

Last updated:

Good news — they're back! Discounted taxi coupons are now available for Boston residents age 65 and over and persons with disabilities. Coupons can be used in taxis licensed by the City of Boston.

Step
1

Review eligibility requirements

We only offer these coupons to Boston residents who are 65 and older or disabled. We need to see an ID that proves you’re a Boston resident.

Each coupon book costs $5 and we only take cash. The coupons don’t expire, but you can only buy two coupon books per month. The coupons are only good for taxis licensed by the City of Boston.

  • For a limited time, you can purchase double the coupons: Four coupon booklets per month for just $20.
Step
2
