Local artist sharing art with neighbors
As an artist, I believe in the power of making and sharing art to uplift the human spirit.
With galleries and museums closed, with no sign of life for art openings or gallery shows for people to attend, I have been “posting” (literally) my art to the tree outside my house for the pleasure and entertainment of passersby. My dog portraits seem to be catching peoples’ attention, I have noticed. I change the posts frequently, and as weather permits, since my medium is watercolor and not very wind or rain friendly! My goal is to keep this open-air exhibit fresh and hope that my paintings will brighten someone’s day.
