Parks and open spaces keep our City connected
Thank goodness for public parks and bike paths!
In late April, I rode my bike along the Charles River and took this photo of Storrow Drive during what would have been the evening rush hour. There were about the same number of people walking and biking along the river as there were driving. At the beginning of the quarantine, seeing empty streets felt like the zombie apocalypse to me. Now I see it as love in action and am grateful to live in a city and a state where our leaders are in sync and working to keep people healthy.
