Dan is a program director in the Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics. He previously worked as a community organizer and non-profit director in New Bedford and Lynn Massachusetts working on issues ranging from raising the minimum wage to gang-violence prevention to immigration reform. Dan brings a background in community engagement, organizational change, policy and program development, and strategy to MONUM. He is passionate about making sure Boston works for all of its residents especially around issues of economic and racial justice. As a Mechanic, he focuses on transportation, housing, and economic mobility. Dan holds a BA in political science from Oberlin College and an MBA focused on public and non-profit management from Boston University.
