Asphalt Resurfacing in Group A & Group B in the City of Boston

The City of Boston, acting by its Commissioner, invites sealed bids for the performance of the work generally described above, and particularly set forth in the Invitation for bids.

Bid documents may be obtained at Room 714 (Contract Office), City Hall, Boston, MA commencing at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 1, 2023. There will be a charge of five dollars ($5) NOT REFUNDABLE, for each set of contract documents taken out. Two separate contracts will be awarded. 

THE MASSACHUSETTS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (MASSDOT) HAS PROVIDED A LIST TO THE BOSTON PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT OF APPROVED ELIGIBLE BIDDERS FOR THIS PROJECT.  ONLY THOSE CONTRACTORS ON THIS LIST WILL RECEIVE OFFICIAL BID DOCUMENTS.  ALL OTHERS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH AN INFORMATIONAL COPY.

This project will consist of two separate contracts. The Engineer’s estimated breakdown by Group is: Group A $4,199,950.00 and Group B $4,199,950.00. The category is Pavement Surfacing or Highway Construction.

Every Sealed bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Invitation for Bids and shall be filed not later than Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 11:00 am at the office of the Official, Public Works Department, Room 714, Boston City Hall. Interested parties will be able to view the event live through a link provided by Public Works, upon receiving your bid packet.  All bids must be from bidders of record (those who have purchased contract documents) on file at Room 714, City Hall. 

Sealed bids shall be opened read aloud through a virtual meeting by the Official on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Boston City Hall, Boston, MA in Room 714.
