REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS DESIGNER SERVICES
The Boston Parks and Recreation Department, acting through its commissioner, is requesting designer services, including site analysis, design development plans, construction documents, cost estimates and construction observation for improvements to the following parks:
BUCKLEY PLAYGROUND, SOUTH BOSTON
CHRISTOPHER LEE PLAYGROUND PLAY AREA & LIGHTS, SOUTH BOSTON
DOHERTY PLAYGROUND PLAZA, CHARLESTOWN
EGLESTON SQUARE PEACE GARDEN, JAMAICA PLAIN
MCLAUGHLIN PLAYGROUND, MISSION HILL
PUTNAM SQUARE, EAST BOSTON
SAVIN HILL PARK COURTS, DORCHESTER
TROTTER PLAYGROUND, ROXBURY
Additional projects beyond this list may be added on an as-needed basis.
Professional services shall be completed as stated in the “Request For Qualifications” which also outlines project fees. Applicants must be registered Landscape Architects or Engineers in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Request for Qualifications will be available upon request via email at BPRDBids@boston.gov.
The “Request For Qualifications'' will be available on or about Monday, November 17, 2025, after 9:00AM and must be returned no later than 12:00 P.M. on Friday, December 12, 2025.
