LILLA G. FREDERICK RECONFIGURATION
The City of Boston Public Schools (the City), acting by and through its Director of Facilities Management (the Awarding Authority), invites sealed bids for the above-entitled project, subject to the applicable provisions of the law, including, without limitation, Chapter 149 of the General Laws, as amended, and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled “Lilla G. Frederick Reconfiguration.”
The City intends to award 1 (one) contract to the responsive and responsible bidder with the lowest price.
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. Electronic copies will be available December 31, 2025, after 12:00 PM. Please request via email at bidderinfo@bostonpublicschools.org
PRE-BID SITE VIEWING will be held at Lilla G. Frederick, 270 Columbia Road, Dorchester, MA 02121 at 8:30 am on January 8, 2026. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. You can reach out to Vanessa Marte at vmarte@bostonpublicschools.org. Please do not be late.
FILED SUB-BIDS shall be submitted to the Awarding Authority, 2nd Floor, Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, MA 02125, before 12:00 PM (Boston time) on January 15, 2026, at which time and place they will be opened and read aloud. Late bids will not be accepted.
Filed Sub-Bid Trade(s): Painting, Gypsum board assemblies, Tile, Plumbing, Fire alarm, and Electrical.
GENERAL BIDS shall be submitted to the Awarding Authority, 2nd Floor, 1216 Dorchester Avenue, Boston, MA 02125, before 12:00 PM (Boston time) on January 29, 2026, at which time and place they will be opened and read aloud. Late bids will not be accepted.
GENERAL BIDS will be valid only when accompanied by, (1) Bid Response Form, (2) 5% Bid Bond Form, (3) Form for General Bid.
The scope of work is detailed in the bid package.
