The City of Boston, acting by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, 3rd Floor, Boston, MA 02118, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites sealed bids for the project listed above. 

All bids for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: Installation of Existing Electric Wiring & Fixtures for Lighting on the Boston Common.

Bids must be submitted before 12:00 P.M., Boston time, Friday October 2, 2026, at which time the bids will be opened read aloud through a virtual meeting. Bidders will be able to view the event live through a link provided on the City of Boston website: boston.gov/departments/parks-and-recreation/doing-business-parks-and-recreation.

The IFB documents will be available on or about Monday September 14, 2026 after 9:00 A.M., Boston time on a USB Thumb Drive at 1010 Massachusetts Ave, 3rd floor, Boston, MA 02118. Electronic copies are also available upon request via email at BPRDBids@boston.gov

There will be an informational pre-bid conference for this project on site at Boston Common, on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 11:00am. Questions can be sent to Tom Timmons at Tom.Timmons@boston.gov
