The City of Boston (the City) acting by its Boston Fire Department through its Commissioner (the Official) hereby invites sealed bids for the above-entitled project, and particularly set forth in the Invitation for Bids which may be obtained starting Monday, May 31, 2021 at 9AM by visiting cityofboston.gov/procurement and clicking on the supplier portal and locating event number EV00009274. Preventive maintenance and repair services as needed of emergency generators and transfer switched at various Boston Fire Department locations stated in the project specifications inclusive of all the required equipment and materials in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024. Bids shall be on forms supplied by Boston Fire, be clearly identified as a bid and signed by the bidder. 

The scope of work is further detailed in the specifications and includes, but is not limited to the following:

Invitation for Bids may be obtained online starting Monday, May 31, 2021 at 9AM by visiting cityofboston.gov/procurement and clicking on the supplier portal and locating event number EV00009274. 

All general bids shall be filed bids electronically with all the required documents on the City of Boston Event EV00009274 before twelve o’clock (noon EST) on Thursday, June 17, 2021.
