Design, Construct, and Install Solar Photovoltaic and Battery Energy Storage Systems

The City of Boston, Massachusetts (the “City”) acting by and through its Chief of Environment, Energy, and Open Space, invites  qualifications statements from qualified firms to provide comprehensive engineering, design, and construction services in connection with the installation of a rooftop photovoltaic array, a commercial-scale battery energy storage system (“BESS”), and a residential-scale BESS at the Boston Fire Department’s Fire Training Academy on Moon Island, in Quincy, Massachusetts (the “Facility”), as more particularly set forth in the Request for Qualifications dated November 29, 2021 (the “RFQ”).

A mandatory tour of the Facility is scheduled for January 5, 2022. Qualifications Statements will be solicited through the City’s Supplier Portal: www.boston.gov/departments/procurement .



All qualifications statements shall be submitted in conformance with the RFQ and all applicable provisions of law.



Qualifications Statement shall be submitted before February 3, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. ET.



The RFQ will be available on Monday, November 29, 2021 after 12 o’clock noon, ET.
