Coordination Services

The City of Boston is seeking a firm to coordinate and organize weekday events in Downtown Boston neighborhoods in the Summer and Fall of 2022. The selected firm will also serve as the city-wide coordinator for this contract and two additional activation and event management contracts in other neighborhoods in the City of Boston. 

This procurement is being released as part of the City of Boston’s Sheltered Market Program. Only businesses certified as M/WBE by either the City of Boston or the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office will be eligible to bid. Due to the industry of the work and the proven disparities for that industry, this procurement will be open to Non-Hispanic white woman-, Black American-, and Native American-owned businesses. 3 responsive and responsible submissions from eligible businesses are required to award this contract under the Sheltered Market Pilot Program. The City of Boston (“the City”), acting through its Chief of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion, invites sealed submittals for the performance of the services generally described above, and particularly as set forth in the Request for Proposals Documents (“RFP”).  The RFP shall be available from 9:00 AM on MONDAY MAY 2, 2022 from the City’s Supplier Portal at boston.gov/supplierportal (Bid Event EV00010610).

Proposals are due no later than 12:00 PM on TUESDAY, MAY 17, 2022 via the City’s Supplier Portal at boston.gov/supplierportal (Bid Event EV00010610). Refer to Section VI of the RFP for complete information on the submission process and details.

The award of a contract under this RFP shall be based upon a determination of the most advantageous submission from the most responsible and responsive vendor taking into consideration the evaluation criteria set forth in the Documents.  The term of the contract shall be for approximately six (6) months beginning on or about JUNE 8, 2022.
