BFD ENGINE 49 INDUSTRIAL CLEANING

The City of Boston, acting by the Boston Fire Department, 115 Southampton Street, Boston, MA 02118, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites sealed bids for the project listed above. 

Bids will be solicited from interested vendors through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: boston.gov/departments/procurement. 

All bids for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: BFD Engine 49 Industrial Cleaning

Bids must be submitted before 12:00 P.M., Boston time, Thursday, March 5th, 2026, and opened forthwith.

The IFB documents will be available on or about Monday, February 16th, 2026, after 8:00 A.M., Boston time. 

The Boston Fire Department (BFD) is seeking vendor to provide all the necessary labor, supervision, supplies, tools, equipment and transportation to perform an all-inclusive industrial cleaning and painting process of the apparatus bay, patrol room, gym and adjacent storage rooms on the ground level of Engine 21, in accordance with specifications, terms and conditions set forth.
