CITY OF BOSTON STREET FURNITURE PROGRAM

The City of Boston, acting by the Property Management Department, One City Hall Plaza, Boston, MA 02201, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, requests proposals for the project listed above.

Proposals will be solicited from interested vendors through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: boston.gov/departments/procurement. Event# EV00017655.

All proposals for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: City of Boston Street Furniture Program

Proposals must be submitted before 12:00 P.M., Boston time, Wednesday, November 4, 2026 and opened forthwith.

The RFP documents will be available on Monday, September 7, 2026 after 10:00 A.M., Boston time.

The City of Boston seeks a qualified contractor to manage, maintain, expand, and modernize its advertising-supported Coordinated Street Furniture Program, including bus shelters, public toilets, information panels, digital displays, benches, and related public realm amenities. The new program is intended to improve comfort, accessibility, equity, real-time information, and maintenance across Boston’s streetscapes while increasing advertising revenue and strengthening City oversight. Deadline to submit questions is September 30, 2026 by 2:00PM.
