CURLEY COMMUNITY CENTER PLUMBING UPGRADES

The City of Boston, acting by the Property Management Department Name, 1 City Hall Plaza, Boston, MA 02201, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites sealed bids for the project listed above.

M.G.L. c. 149

Bids will be solicited from interested vendors through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: boston.gov/departments/procurement.

All bids for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: Curley Community Center plumbing upgrades.

A site visit is scheduled for Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 10:00AM. All potential bidders will meet in the front lobby of the Curley Community Center located at 1663 Columbia Rd, Boston, MA. Questions are due August 18, 2026 by 12:00PM.

Filed Sub-Bid for Plumbing and Flooring must be submitted via mail or delivered to Boston City Hall, One City Hall Plaza, Room 811 before 12:00 P.M., Boston time, Thursday, August 27, 2026, and opened forthwith.

General Bids must be submitted before 12:00 P.M., Boston time, Thursday, September 3, 2026, and opened forthwith.

The IFB documents will be available on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 10:00 A.M., Boston time. Curley Community Center plumbing upgrades to include demolition of outdoor shower piping and the installation of new solid interceptors, replacement of backflow preventers and drainage systems, backwater valve and expansion joints. Replace epoxy flooring and upgrade mixing valves and floor drains as further outlined in the specifications.
