PFD - DORCHESTER FIELD HOUSE SITE WORK

The City of Boston, acting by its Public Facilities Commission, through its Director of the Public Facilities Department, 26 Court St Boston, MA 02108, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites sealed bids for the PFD - Dorchester Field House Site Work project. The estimated construction cost for this project is $1,549,188.

M.G.L. c. 30 section 39M

The scope of work is further detailed in the specifications and includes Landscaping for the Dorchester Boys and Girl Club Fieldhouse Project. 

Project Location: 301 Mount Vernon Street Dorchester MA. 

Work must be substantially complete by April 14, 2027.

Pre-Bid Meeting: July 30, 2026, 10AM at 301 Mount Vernon St Dorchester MA. This is an active Construction Site, Proper PPE required that includes Hard Hats, Safety Glasses, Vests and Boots. Parking is available for $9 at the Bayside Lot located on 200 Mount Vernon Street Boston, MA 02125. Please meet PFD at 301 Mount Vernon. 

General contractors must submit all general bids with the Awarding Authority at the Bid Counter, 26 Court Street, 1st Floor, Boston, MA 02108, on or before 12:00 PM on August 13, 2026, at which time and place respective general bids shall be opened and read aloud in person and virtually. See boston.gov/departments/public-facilities for more information. All are invited to attend. 

Bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond deposit of the bid amount.

A performance and payment bond satisfactory to the Awarding Authority in the amount of 100% of the contract price, will be required of the successful bidder.

Plans and specifications are only available electronically and by requesting access for such through bid.info@boston.gov and will be available on or about July 20, 2026

Deadline for questions: August 4, 2026, by 12:00 noon. All questions must be submitted in writing directly to bid.info@boston.gov.

The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
