PFD – LILLA G. FREDERICK SCHOOLYARD

The scope of work is further detailed in the specifications and includes new playground, fence, half-court basketball and associated work at the Lilla G. Frederick School. 

Project Location: 270 Columbia Road, Boston, MA 02121

Expected contract duration is for 120 days. Prevailing wages shall apply.

Pre-Bid Meeting: January 5, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., 270 Columbia Road, Boston, MA 02121

General contractors must submit all general bids with the Awarding Authority at the Bid Counter, 26 Court Street, Boston, MA 02108, 1^st Floor, on or before 12:00 p.m. on January 15, 2026 at which time and place respective general bids shall be opened and read aloud in person and virtually. See boston.gov/departments/public-facilities for more information. All are invited to attend.

Bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond deposit of the amount bid. 

A performance and payment bond satisfactory to the Awarding Authority in the amount of 100% of the contract price, will be required of the successful bidder.

The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
