Project Goals

The Hamilton at Mount Everett project will create 36 senior (62+) affordable rental units at 33 Hamilton Street in Dorchester. The existing two-family structure, which is vacant, will be demolished and a four-story "L" shaped building will be newly constructed. The first floor will contain approximately 1,000 square feet of common space including a community room, lobby, management office, meeting room, game alcove, package room bicycle room and two elevators.
The site plan includes 13 parking spaces and 18 bicycle parking spaces. There will be 4 Homeless Set Aside units, 12 units available at or below 30% AMI and 20 units available at or below 60% AMI. All 36 affordable units will be 1-Bedroom.
