Project Goals

2 parcels totaling 6,570 sq ft and zoned for 2F-5000. The parcels are fenced into a private park which has landscaped and kept up these parcels in conjunction with their park, run by the Fields Corner Community. The parcels have development potential and abut another open space parcel, but are serving the community through open space.

This is an undeveloped lot owned by the City of Boston’s Department of Neighborhood Development.

The Department of Neighborhood Development acquires surplus and foreclosed property and is responsible for managing this real estate. We work to create housing and open space by making that land available to Bostonians over time through a public Request for Proposals process. This parcel of land is not yet planned for development, but stay tuned!
