Community Feedback

We’re meeting with community members to gather feedback on plans for the site.

43 & 46 Wenonah St. Community Meeting.
14 ATTENDEES

Thank you to the many community members who joined us to discuss the future of 43 & 46 Wenonah Street. Attendees supported use of the 43 Wenonah St. parcel as an open space with a memorial celebrating the legacy of Sara-Ann Shaw, who lived and worked in the neighborhood. Community members expressed interest in seeing 46 Wenonah Street developed into an urban wild with a pathway. Attendees also expressed support for finding a way to connect the space with Sara-Ann Shaw's legacy specifically as a journalist and broadcaster, possibly with a structure to provide space for writing and contemplation. Please send any other questions or comments to theresa.strachila@boston.gov.
