Project Goals
Redevelopment of existing Guerrilla Garden on REMS vacant land into Article 89 compliant Urban Agriculture site. Site improvements contracted and overseen directly by REMS.
This is an undeveloped lot owned by the City of Boston’s Department of Neighborhood Development.
The Department of Neighborhood Development acquires surplus and foreclosed property and is responsible for managing this real estate. We work to create housing and open space by making that land available to Bostonians over time through a public Request for Proposals process. This parcel of land is not yet planned for development, but stay tuned!
